I took off on an airplane for Mexico on Ryan’s birthday. A great way to help get through the day. We spent two weeks in Peurto Vallarta, Mexico and had many adventures. My mind was kept busy as it continues to heal and my body…well, my body was dragged along for the ride.
The most exciting thing was zip-lining. The most wonderful was watching the humpback whales while sitting in a dinghy boat and getting splashed by a baby whale that went right underneath our boat! We also had many scary rides in taxis, buses and off-road vehicles.
I do love the people in Mexico and the language. We met the most interesting Canadian. He was part of our zip-lining group. He is from Vancouver, where he has his own handyman business and spends his winters in warm climates, mostly Mexico. He is a vegan and eats mainly coconuts. He climbs the trees and cuts them down for himself. His You Tube sight is called Health Supercharger and you can find him here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=35MIUQw2_a4 Lucas, you are definitely the most fascinating person I have met!
Here are just some pics of the activities we did. It was great, but I am glad to be home. I missed my dog.
